Goverment Ramlings

Why did I think it was a good idea to answer text about the upcoming election before going to bed. As you can see I am not sleeping. A friend text me "Who you voting for?" I gave some smart ass answer about McCain. I was happy that this friend was taking a interest in the up coming election because good or bad we are all going to be affected by the outcome. I was shocked when it seem to come down to the fact of race and region. I don't think that should matter. I told them they need to do some research on both sides not just the mud slinging and soundbites that could be out of context. Then the flag got brought up. Obama wants to change the flag. I have not heard that, but have been worried about other things the fact that debt keeps going up and my pay check stays the same and there is that whole I would like the same right as a gay women that straight people take for granted. Small thing like being to see your loved one in the hospital making the important calls if needed there, the right to have any say to the children that you did raise but did not have yourself to name a few. They can call it what ever you want. Obama would help in making that happen. Hell Palin got so tense just trying not to answer the question. I hope that people look at what is good for ALL of us and are informed.
